Someone earlier made a comment about Peter Stringfellow and his dubious wisdom. But Peter correctly spotted something immediately - that you are funny. And thats what shines out in the documentary.

OK he actually said funny isnt sexy, but I know what he meant.

Of course you are sexy and not in a dead-behind-the-eyes way either. Youre the sort of girl boys fall in love with. The one they want to take home to mum & dad, the one you hope your son will bring home. And the sort of girl people really want to be mates with.

Oh, and if you really do feel the need to get topless, feel free to pop round to my place anytime ;)

Just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your documentary - you're clearly a very intelligent, genuine and funny woman.

I'm glad you made the choice that you did, and I really hope that your career goes from strength to strength. It would be a terrible indictment on the media business if the only way that an attractive woman like yourself can get on is by going down the lads mag route.

Comparing yourself to your contemporaries is all too easy (we all do it!) - but in the end we must be true to ourselves, and do things our own way.

Thanks for a great TV show! It was pretty moving and very thoughtful and I'm glad you did not revert to what "the lads" expect of a beautiful woman. As a 32 year old I've watched you on TV for years and thought that not only are you very pretty you are also very talented, funny and have a very loving natural personality. These are qualities the FHM girls could only dream of. Doing the documentary will have done you more favours than flashing your tits in the long run. I would love to see you doing more Docs and radio (now that the Steve show has gone) people who actually "think" would appreciate that more that a quick shot of some boobs. Please keep up the comedy and get to Cardiff I would love to see your show. I'm married to a girl with a cute bob who loves flat shoes, she is beautiful in so many ways - and you remind me of her!!

Just watched your documentary and I have to say you are my new idol mate! I really admire you for just keepin it real - in the end it takes more guts and strength of personality to be yourself. It was a wonderful and very relevant documentary, bringing up important issues that are rarely seriously discussed and absolutely need to be. Better be seeing you on tv more in the future - the media seriously needs more women like you!

Hi Kirsten! I just watched your show (obviously..) and found it really interesting and relevant. I am part of my university feminist society, which, despite the negative stigma attached to it (fire breathing, man hating, butch, etc etc.) I am very proud of! We are just starting out and are attempting to mainstream feminism within the university at least, as an acceptable and accessible concept.
Our first campaign of next year is going to be raising awareness of the objectification of women, and the pressures in society, as you aptly displayed, for us to strip off. It is a real shame that in an ‘equal’ society like ours, the fast track way for women to make it big is to grease up for a men’s mag, and I am so glad you stuck to your guns and what you were comfortable with to pursue stand up comedy.
I was wondering if you would be interested in taking some time for a quick, extremely amateur interview regarding your views on the subject, for a university distributed magazine we hope to publish next semester.

I have just watched the programme and I have to say it touched me. Your honesty and wonderful nature really shone through. You have amazing talent and intelect so you will always have the ability to work in the field you know and love best.
I have two sons, 9 and 12 so I guess I have followed your career a little, though I did not know about the stand-up.
Funny is not sexy? Pfffftttt those young kids know nothing. In alot of ways you remind me of my girlfriend, attractive, funny, not caring about the grace and overt styles and you both have a natural beauty that INTELLIGENT men love.
I was glad to see that you didn't do the shoot. Keep in your comfort zone and do what you do best.

Come on guys - Yeah Kirsten's hot looking, great personality and has that energy that most of the other presenters today lack, but sometimes you just have to use your imagination and it's probably best left there.

Again - i'm glad that theres some people out there who put thier own moral judgements and don't give in for the sake of being "with the in crowd".

I absolutely love you and your bubbly personality, and with my children, have followed your career on childrens TV avidly. I am sad to say that I think you made the right choice; sad because I think (contray to the opinions in your programme) you could knock spots off any of the girls that you highlighted (and I for one would have loved to see you 'bare all'); the right choice because unlike your contempories...you really don't need to do this, your personality is too bright to need it.
This was a great show, if only to see you again Kirsten! If you had walked down my main street, i'd have told you how gorgeous you are to your face!
